Software Mind Mapping

By contrast, Software Mind Mapping can look more homogenous and less personalised, but has other advantages instead. Because it is so quick and easy to make a Mind Map in software, and rearrange it a few dozen times, you can develop a map until its meaning is clear enough for others to understand and follow. Incongruities and personal touches which may mean little to others can be replaced with clear and expressive thinking that helps someone else understand how something complicated is "wired up". A software Mind Map can be used to communicate colourful and dynamic ideas to those who might otherwise not be too interested in pages of text, allowing them to see the big picture. Also, a software Mind Map can be adapted and extended by the user to meet their exact needs, and maps can be developed and refined collaboratively, even when the participants are physically separated.
